CONGRESSMAN MAXWELL FROST

Congressman Maxwell Frost gave a shout out to Future Generations for being bold and being first to endorse his campaign as a challenger and in a crowded field.

Future Generations endorsed Rep. Frost over a year before his primary. Longshot candidates can win big if we get behind them early enough to provide training, resources, and expand their network reach — things that can cost thousands of dollars for political outsiders — we provide at no cost to our candidates.

WHO WE ARE

Future Generations is led by the Seventh Generations philosophy; that the decisions we make today should result in a sustainable world for at least seven generations into the future. While historically it has been used to describe our relationship with the environment - understanding that economic, racial, housing, and healthcare justice, are undeniably interconnected, is crucial. We support, recruit, train, and endorse candidates who will commit to secure a just and livable planet for generations to come.

In 2020, we helped re-elect Senator Ed Markey in a historic campaign built around energizing young Gen-Z and Millennial voters in Massachusetts. Following our blueprint, Future Generations took on three battleground states: Florida, Texas, and Pennsylvania for the 2021-22 election cycle.

Future Generations was first to endorse, longshot candidate, Maxwell Frost in Florida's 10th Congressional District. Congressman-Elect Frost is now the first Gen-Z member of U.S. Congress!

In Texas, we supported Jasmine Crockett during her 2020 Texas House race where she won the runoff by just 90 votes! Jasmine became a quick trailblazer and a household name for her fight to secure voting access and rights in Texas. By 2022, Jasmine won in a landslide victory and is headed to the U.S. Congress to represent the people of Dallas in Congressional District 30! In Texas 35th, we supported Greg Casar, a longtime organizer and Austin Councilman. Greg won his primary in a landslide and is making history by becoming the first Latino to represent the Austin region in U.S. Congress.

In Pennsylvania, Future Generations was the first and only progressive organization to support John Fetterman for U.S. Senate during the primary. Because of youth-engagement, John Fetterman secured a historic win by flipping the Senate seat and becoming the 51st vote! In Pennsylvania's 12th Congressional District, we supported Summer Lee, who is making history as the first Black woman to represent Pennsylvania in U.S. Congress.

We are a youth-founded, youth-led organization dedicated to strategically engaging in political campaigns. We are a passionate team of activists and organizers from all over the nation working together to support diverse voices currently seeking public office at every level to build our bench, from city council to U.S. Senate. Together, we work with people-powered grassroots movements to uplift leaders who will take bold climate action, believe healthcare is a human right, recognize the systemic racism in our criminal justice system, support humane immigration policy, defend all human rights: domestic and foreign, call for an end to endless wars, and uphold Tribal Treaty Rights.
